Some of you may recall that one of the topics of conversation at the Get Together last Sunday was Bernard (aka Br. Bernard) Kenyon. I mentioned that he had been visiting relatives in the area during Christmas Week, but that he had sent me a message that he and his wife Joanne would be unable to attend the Get Together because they were returning to Baltimore on Saturday. Well, on Monday I receive a text from Joanne stating that Bernard had had a stroke, and that he was in Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. He condition was stable, but that it was going to be a long journey. Out of respect for their privacy, I have withheld making any announcement.
Today, Joanne gave me the OK to let folks know. Here is her message:
"Thanks to both of you. I gave him your message and he lit up.. Yes, please share and ask for prayers. He is improving but it will be a long journey. We hope to transfer him to Gaylord Rehab Center in the next few days. Will keep you posted.🙏"
Photos are from August 2017, except for the last one. That is from the 1967 Crosier. At this point, Joanne is asking for your prayers. She has not mentioned visitors. I will post any updates.
